Background Info on Stone Dragon

Stone Dragon? What Stone Dragon? Well now, it seems you do not know me personally or you would have heard this story before. Once upon a time, many years ago, I created a character for Villians and Vigilanties (a superhero role-playing game, for those now completely lost). He was a super villian with the ability to shape-change into a massive stone dragon.
At the time, I was just beginnning to learn Japanese, so I took out my book and looked up 'STONE' (Koku) and 'DRAGON' (Ryu). I put these together, and, *POOF*, Kokuryu was born. I liked this name so much, I adopted it as my internet handle. For those who may have known me in other Internet incarnations, I have been on the net for over 14 years now. I have been known as Xanadu (I was the FIRST to have this name!), Rogue, Rogueiest, vPlisser, Xeres, Mr. Hentai, and then, finally Kokuryu. I have been on CIS, GEnie, AOL, Prodigy, PC-VAN and NiftyServe as well as a slew of freebe services.

Okay, so what do you do now?

Now? I work as a software engineer. I live in South Florida, after moving here from New York 4 years ago. I have something resembling a social life, with many friends. The one thing I lack is a girlfriend. (I'm looking for a permanent relationship, if any women out there are interested.) I love to watch Japanese Anime, read manga, play role playing games, relax, watch movies, paint, draw, make computer games, etc. I have an Anime web page that you can go to at Kokuryu's Anime Page and see what I do with my other spare time: manage my primary web page.

Then why are you here?

Here? I'm here because U.S. Robotics has a free web service here for people who own and have registered their products with them. I have bought 4 or 5 U.S. Robotics modems over recent years, primarilly because they are the first ones to come out with new technology for a reasonable price, and mainly because all their products actually WORK real good! Okay, so maybe I'm spreading it a bit thick about U.S. Robotics, but I really do mean it.

Next time you are in the market for a modem, there is only one choice: U.S. Robotics. (Did they pay me to do this? No. I'm serious! I actually like their products! I'm that type of person. If I find something I like, I make sure everyone can find it!)
